Last summer we invested in adventure and purchased a new to us, slightly used 2013 Airstream – Flying Cloud. We’ve named her Luna and have started dreaming of all the places we’ll go.Although Luna was practically new she did came to us with a few issues; leaky sink, faulty jack, and a couple of lacklustre batteries.
We shopped around and quickly learned the best place to go was Gilmay RV, Vernon’s Unique RV Service Centre. The trailer repairs were no problem for them; they even helped us to instal a set of new roof vents and solar panels.
The most obvious challenge we faced was to make the trailer wheelchair accessible. Craig suggested an ultra simple, lightweight aluminum rail system that attaches below the door. The ramps do the trick nicely and store effortlessly in the rear bumper of the trailer — too easy.
It is SO NICE to find people whom are genuinely passionate about what they do and have an incredible ability to share those gifts.
Gilmay RV rocks, now it’s time for us to roll!
